Zrro: Android-play console with an unusual touch controller – 3DNews

At the site Kickstarter project presented console Zrro, designed to run games and applications for the Android operating system via the TV.

The main unit is connected to Zrro Flat-panel interface through HDMI. The device is equipped with the quad-core processor with a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, a flash unit with a capacity of 16 GB, a slot for microSD-card and a pair of USB-ports. The software component is based on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Among the total mass of similar gadgets Zrro stands a very unusual game controller designed to move the usual operation via touch screen smartphone or tablet on a big TV screen. The technology is called zTouch.

The manipulator is able to recognize the position of the fingers of the work area at a distance of 3 cm. Their current position is displayed as a circular indicator on the TV screen. As the zoom in or out of your fingers touch the surface of the indicators vary in size. Thus, according to the project participants, the user can accurately be controlled without taking your eyes off while the TV. The controller also supports gestures.

It is noted that the console is compatible with virtually all games and applications for the platform Android. At the same time supports the work with the materials in 4K format.

The project participants want to collect on Kickstarter at least $ 200 thousand. Has already received a quarter of this amount, before closing piggy bank remains 40 days. While the price Zrro is about $ 180.
